Fluidity, adaptability: water permeates otherwise unreachable crevices and depths. Water is not locked into a singular, static form; it assumes the form of its setting: ocean, river, stream, vessel. Expressing the elusive nature of nature, water is always one step ahead of our grasping attempts. As viewed through the theme of the sea, water assumes an infinite multiplicity of guises, as if expressing a fundamental process of creation.
